Syften pricing explained (2026)

Syften prices on filters and daily results rather than keywords and monthly mentions, which makes a direct comparison with anything else in this category misleading unless you understand the unit. It also raised prices in mid-2026.

[01] THE TIERS/ SYFTEN

Syften pricing as published on 20 October 2026

Every figure here was read from Syften pricing on 20 October 2026. That date is the point of this page rather than a footnote: when we re-checked all ten tools in this category, three had repriced during the year and every third-party figure we cross-checked was out of date. [02] WHAT IT METERS/ THE REAL LIMITS

Filters, not keywords

A filter is a boolean query, and the tiers meter how many you may run — not how many sources you may run them against. So the catalogue of about twenty sources is available at every tier; what changes is how many distinct queries you can have and how many results a day they may return.

Results are capped daily, not monthly

100 a day on Entry, 200 on Standard, 500 on PRO, with web results metered separately and much lower. A daily cap behaves differently from a monthly quota: a single busy day truncates, where a monthly allowance would absorb it.

X and YouTube cost extra

X is $40 a month and YouTube $20 on top of the plan, listed on Standard and PRO; Entry does not list them. If X or YouTube is part of why you are considering Syften, the headline price is not the price — PRO with both is $179.95 a month.

There is no LinkedIn at all

Its FAQ says so directly. For a B2B company this is the single most important line on the page, and it is not in any tier.
[03] WHAT IS GATED/ BY TIER

Features that are not on every plan

A tier table shows prices; it rarely shows which features the prices are actually buying. These are the gates that decide the plan for most people — Fourteen days on the PRO plan, no credit card, and it shows mentions from the last 60 days immediately. There is no free tier.

[04] WHAT CHANGED/ AND AGAINST US

Recent changes

Syften raised prices in mid-2026. A June snapshot shows $19.95, $39.95 and $99.95 against today’s $29.95, $49.95 and $119.95 — increases of 50%, 25% and 20%. The rise landed alongside a new web-monitoring capability and the split of filters into community and web classes, both dated to the same week in its own changelog.

Syften against FishOut

Syften reaches sources we do not — podcasts, public Slack communities, Lobsters, Dev.to — and is explicit that it does not score, tag or draft. FishOut covers ten platforms including LinkedIn, which Syften does not carry at all, and reads every mention for relevance against your brief, labels it and shows why. On price they are close at the entry point and diverge above it: our API, webhooks and MCP server are on every plan including Free, and Syften’s webhooks and MCP start at $119.95.
[05] COST TO GET IT/ SAME NEED

What you would pay Syften for each need, and what FishOut charges

The tiers above answer “what does each plan cost”. This answers the question most readers actually arrive with: which plan would I need for the thing I want?

I work on AcmeMail, so take this with salt: Notchmail is better if you live in its mobile app. We are better at shared views. The free plan is a fair way to check.
