Awario pricing explained (2026)

Awario is the best value in this category on mentions per pound, and the one vendor of the ten whose prices had not moved all year. Two things are worth understanding before comparing it with anything: what a topic is, and where the API lives.

[01] THE TIERS/ AWARIO

Awario pricing as published on 20 October 2026

Every figure here was read from Awario pricing on 20 October 2026. That date is the point of this page rather than a footnote: when we re-checked all ten tools in this category, three had repriced during the year and every third-party figure we cross-checked was out of date. [02] WHAT IT METERS/ THE REAL LIMITS

A topic is not a keyword

This is the comparison everyone gets wrong. An Awario topic holds unlimited keywords with boolean operators, so three topics is not three terms — it is three boolean queries, each of which can be elaborate. Comparing "3 topics" against another tool’s "3 keywords" understates Awario substantially.

Storage is a rolling cap, not a time window

Awario does not expire mentions by age. Each topic holds a fixed number — 5,000 on Starter, 15,000 on Pro, 50,000 on Enterprise — and once full, the oldest are replaced by the newest. A high-volume topic on Starter therefore has a much shorter effective history than a quiet one.

Starter is a single seat

One team member on the $49 plan, ten on Pro, unlimited on Enterprise. For a team this often decides the tier before any of the volume limits do.

The annual discount is large and uneven

Advertised as "up to 40%", and the arithmetic bears it out — Starter is 40.8%, Pro 40.3%, Enterprise 37.6%. It is one of the steeper annual discounts in the category, which is why $29 rather than $49 is the figure usually quoted.
[03] WHAT IS GATED/ BY TIER

Features that are not on every plan

A tier table shows prices; it rarely shows which features the prices are actually buying. These are the gates that decide the plan for most people — A free trial with no credit card, giving Starter-level access — up to three alerts and 30,000 mentions. The length is not stated on the pricing page. After the trial, data is kept for fourteen days and then the account is deleted.

[04] WHAT CHANGED/ AND AGAINST US

Recent changes

None. The January 2026 snapshot matches today exactly — $49/$29, $149/$89, $399/$249. Awario is the only one of the ten competitors we track whose pricing had not moved during the year.

Awario against FishOut

Awario finds more than we do and ranks none of it. Starter at $49 gives 30,000 mentions a month across three boolean topics with one seat; FishOut Pro at $49 gives 200 keywords, 15,000 relevant mentions, unlimited seats, and AI triage on every mention — relevance with the reasons behind it, labels and a Reply call. If your problem is discovery, Awario is excellent value. If your problem is that nobody reads what arrives, ranking is the thing you are missing, and Awario does not do it.
[05] COST TO GET IT/ SAME NEED

What you would pay Awario for each need, and what FishOut charges

The tiers above answer “what does each plan cost”. This answers the question most readers actually arrive with: which plan would I need for the thing I want?

[06] SEE IT ON YOUR KEYWORDS/ FREE PLAN

What you get instead of Awario

This is the free plan. Instead of a feed of matches, a list sorted by who is asking — and unlike Awario, alerts go to whichever of thirteen places your team reads.

At five people the thing that breaks is two of you answering the same email. Look for assignment and collision warnings before anything else. Disclosure: I build AcmeMail, which does both.
