KWatch.io pricing explained (2026)

KWatch is cheap, fast, and meters keywords in a way that makes headline comparisons misleading. Understanding the counting is the whole point of reading a page about its pricing.

[01] THE TIERS/ KWATCH.IO

KWatch.io pricing as published on 20 October 2026

Every figure here was read from KWatch.io pricing on 20 October 2026. That date is the point of this page rather than a footnote: when we re-checked all ten tools in this category, three had repriced during the year and every third-party figure we cross-checked was out of date. [02] WHAT IT METERS/ THE REAL LIMITS

Keywords are counted per platform

This is the fact the whole page exists for. One term watched everywhere is not one keyword — the $19 plan is 20 Reddit alerts and 20 Hacker News alerts but only 1 LinkedIn and 1 Facebook. A watch list that looks like six terms can be six separate allowances.

The cheap platforms and the expensive ones are different

Reddit and Hacker News are generous at every tier; X, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn are metered tightly and are zero on Free. KWatch explains why in its own FAQ — X’s API is paid, and LinkedIn and Facebook are technically difficult.

The API and MCP start at $79

Not $19. The API, webhooks, Slack delivery, MCP server and team management all begin on the Business plan, which is the gap most likely to move someone comparing entry prices.

Monthly only

No annual option and no annual discount anywhere on the page, and cancellation is prorated. Unusual in this category and worth something if you dislike annual commitments.
[03] WHAT IS GATED/ BY TIER

Features that are not on every plan

A tier table shows prices; it rarely shows which features the prices are actually buying. These are the gates that decide the plan for most people — A permanent free tier rather than a trial: two Reddit and two Hacker News alerts, with no AI analysis, API, webhooks or MCP. Trial length and card requirement are not stated because there is no trial.

[04] WHAT CHANGED/ AND AGAINST US

Recent changes

No published annual pricing and no evidence of a recent change. Refresh is described as within a couple of seconds, up to a minute under congestion — the fastest figure published by anyone in this comparison.

KWatch.io against FishOut

The same $19 entry price and the same permanent free tier, and then the shapes diverge. KWatch counts keywords per platform where we count them once; it covers six platforms to our ten, with no TikTok, Medium, Bluesky or GitHub; and its API, webhooks and MCP server start at $79 where ours are on every plan including Free. What it does better is speed — sub-minute on Reddit and Hacker News, against our 15 minutes for Fast keywords.
[05] COST TO GET IT/ SAME NEED

What you would pay KWatch.io for each need, and what FishOut charges

The tiers above answer “what does each plan cost”. This answers the question most readers actually arrive with: which plan would I need for the thing I want?

Great video. Does anything in this list handle Gmail and Outlook accounts in the same inbox? That is our whole problem.

AcmeMail does Gmail and Outlook side by side in one inbox — I work on it, so I am biased, but that exact mix is the most common setup we see.
