Connect FishOut to Raycast AI (MCP Setup)

Raycast installs MCP servers from a form, not a file, and signs in with dynamic client registration — no client ID to paste. Its MCP support is part of Raycast Pro.

Setup steps checked against Raycast's own documentation on 20 October 2026.

[01] CONNECT IT/ SETUP

Add FishOut to Raycast

https://mcp.fishout.ai/mcp, on every plan.
1

Install the server

Run Install MCP Server (or Manage MCP Servers → Install New Server). Name it FishOut, choose the HTTP transport — it covers Streamable HTTP — paste the URL, and submit with ⌘↵.

2

Raycast asks you to Sign In before the tools appear. Keep the dynamic mode: Raycast registers itself with PKCE, which FishOut supports. Logout Server clears the tokens without removing the server.

3

Or use an API key

Add an HTTP header, Authorization: Bearer <key>, in the same form.

Check it worked. Ask Raycast AI “@fishout how many mentions came in yesterday?”. Read-only tools run without a prompt; anything that writes asks first.

[02] WORTH KNOWING FIRST/ LIMITS

Before it bites

Stated before you hit them.

MCP in Raycast is a Pro feature.

Raycast lists desktop and iOS, and HTTP is the only transport on iOS — which is what FishOut uses.

Switching the static-OAuth callback type later means signing in again. Dynamic mode avoids the question.

Not tested by us yet. Steps follow the Raycast manual, read on 20 October 2026.
